TIPS FOR READING YOUR RECORDING:

1. Speak clearly, and keep proper distance to the receiver.

2. Annuciate your words so they are clear.

3. Take small breaths at the end of a sentence.

4. Read through the book one or two times prior to calling to record so you can practice your voice inflection and tone.

5. IMAGINE YOUR CHILD IS SITTING WITH YOU AS YOU READ.

6. You have at least a half hour of recording time available to you. Be sure to leave a personal greeting for your child at the beginning and end of your recording to personalize your gift even more.

7. We encourage you to listen to your recording upon completion. Due to changes in environment, and personal tones each recording will be personal and different. If you would like to re-record your recording, please follow the instructions provided on the instruction sheet to re-record.

Please note that recordings are personalized and therefore each will be different in their own special way. The goal is not a perfect voice or recording, rather it is to create something special and unique for your child.
